The Profile page

Click Profile at the bottom of the sidebar. It opens your own account — not the organization’s — with sections for your account details, security, and API keys.
  • Account — your name, profile picture, and email addresses. Sign-in is by a code emailed to you, so the email address on file is how you get in.
  • Security — the devices you’re signed in on, with the option to sign out of another one.

API keys

An API key signs in to Console as you, without a browser. The CLI uses one when you choose Paste an API key at setup, and reads one from AMPLIFY_API_KEY in CI. Open Profile and choose API keys — or go straight to console.amplify.security/console/profile/api-keys. Create a key, give it a name you’ll recognize later, and copy it: the key is shown once. Revoke a key from the same list when a machine no longer needs it, and anything still using it stops working immediately.
On a machine with a browser, the CLI’s Sign in with your browser needs no key at all. Keep API keys for CI and headless machines.
A key is personal: it carries your identity and your organizations. Keys owned by an organization rather than a person live on the Organization page. See Installation for the CLI setup and the CLI for what it can do once signed in.

Appearance

The theme switcher is not on the Profile page — it’s the Theme entry at the bottom of the sidebar, just above Profile. Click it and pick one: The choice is remembered by your browser, so it applies to this browser only and doesn’t follow you to another device.

Signing out

Sign Out is the last entry in the sidebar. It ends your session and returns you to the sign-in page.
